Polk County Middle continued its perfect run through the Blue Ridge Conference on Wednesday, sweeping Flat Rock Middle in straight sets to remain undefeated on the season.
The Wolverines (7-0) overcame early adversity in the opening set, battling back from a 6-2 deficit to draw even at 6-6. From there, Polk County found its rhythm, using a decisive seven-point run midway through the set to take control and never looked back.
The second set saw Polk County maintain its momentum, though Flat Rock (0-6) kept things competitive early. Leading 17-14, the Wolverines pulled away with a crucial six-point run to extend their advantage to 23-14 before closing out the match shortly after.

The 25-13, 25-16 victory marks Polk County’s seventh straight win to start the season, while Flat Rock continues to search for its first win of the 2025 campaign.
Polk County Middle will look to extend its unbeaten streak when it returns to action Monday, hosting Hendersonville Middle in another conference matchup.
