Polk County’s junior varsity romped to a straight-set win Tuesday at Mitchell to reach the .500 mark for the first time this season.
The Wolverines earned a 25-5, 25-21 win, improving to 3-3 overall, 3-1 in WHC matches.
Caroline Taylor had four kills for Polk County, with Anna Jackson and Zaelea Eller each recording three.
Elysia Smith had eight assists for Polk, with Eller adding five. Eller also had four digs, with Annlee Kilgore recording five.
Elena Carroll added three aces for Polk County, which returns to action on Thursday at Mountain Heritage.
