Polk County's McKenna Morris

Polk County’s junior varsity extended its winning streak to five matches on Tuesday, sweeping Madison in Western Highlands Conference play in Marshall.

The Wolverines took a 25-22, 25-17 win to improve to 5-3 overall, 5-1 in conference matches.

Anna Jackson and Cameron Ward each had three kills for Polk County, with Elysia Smith finishing with five assists and two kills. Zaelea Eller had four assists and three digs.

Elena Carroll had four digs, with Caroline Taylor recording six blocks, two kills and two digs.

Polk County is back in action on Dec. 30, hosting Avery at 11 a.m. That match can be seen live on the NFHS Network.
