Polk County’s junior varsity opened the final week of regular-season play witha pair of Mountain Foothills 7 Conference victories.
Polk thumped Chase 25-12, 25-14 on Monday before going on the road Tuesday and handing East Rutherford a 25-16, 25-16 defeat, improving the Wolverines’ record to 12-6 overall, 10-1 in conference matches.
Polk County closes its JV season on Thursday at Brevard.

In Tuesday’s match, Reeve Carroll and Jill Brown each had four kills, with Abby Lewis adding three. Lewis also had 12 assists and six digs, with Carroll notching seven digs.
Claire Lawrence had nine digs for Polk County.
In Monday’s match, Carroll had seven kills, with Brown and Louisa Wood each adding four. Lewis had 18 assists and six aces.
Zulem Ramirez finished with four digs, with Lawrence and Brown each adding three.
