Polk County’s junior varsity snapped a two-game losing streak Thursday with a straight-set victory at Madison.

The Wolverines recorded a 25-20, 25-14 win, improving to 11-6 overall, 3-1 in Western Highlands Conference matches.

Elysia Smith had four kills, four digs and five assists, with Amberlyn Scruggs adding two kills and seven assists. Sara Wilson also had two kills.

Ella Waldman had 10 digs for Polk County, which returns to action Monday at home against Kings Mountain.
