Polk JVs fall at Brevard in season finale

Brevard held off Polk County in the opening set Thursday, then dominated the second set en route to a 2-0 win in junior varsity volleyball action in Brevard.

The Blue Devils claimed a 25-23, 25-11 win, capping an undefeated run through the Mountain Foothills 7 Conference. Polk County sees its season end with a 12-7 record, 10-2 in conference matches.

Reeve Carroll had seven kills and 10 digs for the Wolverines, with Elena Greve adding five kills and Louisa Wood notching two.

Zulem Ramirez had seven digs, with Abby Lewis adding six digs to go along with her 12 assists. Sofie Abrahamsen finished with four digs.
