Polk County extended its winning streak to three on Wednesday, taking a 2-0 victory over Crest in a non-conference junior varsity volleyball matchup at Polk.
The Wolverines claimed a 25-13, 25-20 victory, improving to 4-6 for the season. Polk dropped a 2-1 decision to Crest earlier this year, with Wednesday’s win reflecting the steady progress the team is making.
Mahaley Wilson had four kills and two aces for Polk County. Junie Mitchell finished with 11 digs, with Aslyn Scruggs recording eight digs and six assists.
Ava Evans and Beija Olivari each added four digs.
The Wolverines complete the first half of their regular-season schedule on Thursday, hosting West Henderson for a 4:30 p.m. match. That game will also be streamed live on NFHS Network.
