
Polk County’s junior varsity earned its second conference win of the week Thursday, knocking off Hendersonville 2-0 in a Mountain Foothills 7 match at Polk.
The Wolverines posted a 25-12, 25-23 victory, improving to 2-6 overall, 2-0 in conference matches.
Beija Olivari recorded four kills and six digs for Polk County, with Riyah Schroyer adding three kills and four digs. Jessie Bradley had two kills, five aces and three digs.
Junie Mitchell had 18 digs, with Akeela Cunningham and Ava Evans each recording six digs. Cunningham also had six assists.
Aslyn Scruggs had 10 digs and seven assists for the Wolverines, who are back at home Tuesday for a 4:30 p.m. match against R-S Central. The match will be streamed live on NFHS Network.
