Polk County’s junior varsity scored a third of its points Monday off serves, helping the Wolverines to an easy 2-0 victory at Shelby.

Polk County (2-2) posted a 25-3, 25-9 victory, its second straight win. The Wolverines scored 17 of those 50 points on service aces.

Cameron Ward had five aces and three kills for Polk County, with Ella Waldman and Annslee Kilgore each recording three aces.

Waldman had six digs, with Elysia Smith finishing with four assists and three kills.

Polk County is back on the road on Thursday, traveling to Brevard for a non-conference match.
