Polk JVs battle back to defeat A.C. Reynolds

Polk County’s junior varsity rallied from a first-set loss Monday to slip past A.C. Reynolds for a 2-1 win in the Wolverines’ season opener in Fairview.

Polk County earned a 19-25, 25-23, 15-12 victory, spoiling the Rockets’ home and season opener.

Reeve Carroll had 10 kills and 26 digs for the Wolverines, with Louisa Wood adding three kills and 13 digs. Abby Lewis had 17 assists and 18 digs while Zulem Ramirez had 12 digs.

Claire Lawrence and Ava Evans each added five digs for Polk County, which returns home Thursday to host T.C. Roberson.
