Polk County’s junior varsity snapped a two-match losing streak on Tuesday, defeating Madison 2-1 in a Western Highlands Conference volleyball match in Marshall.
The Wolverines earned a 26-24, 15-25, 25-21 victory, improving their record to 6-8 overall, 3-4 in WHC matches. Polk County hosts West Henderson on Wednesday.
Amber Hall had 10 assists and 19 digs for Polk County. Ashton Capozzi had five kills and 10 digs, Bella Bowser had 15 digs, Kate Padgett had 16 digs, Lily Nelson had eight kills and four blocks and Morgan Stott had 21 digs for the Wolverines.
