Polk County’s junior varsity had little trouble Tuesday at Mitchell, rolling past the Mountaineers in straight sets in a Western Highlands Conference match.
The Wolverines notched a 25-12, 25-5 win, upping their record to 5-3 overall, 3-0 in WHC matches.
Carolina Castillo had seven kills and eight digs for Polk, with Karla Olguin adding eight digs, Meadow Becker recording five kills and five digs and Sydney Waldman finishing with 13 assists and five aces.
