Polk County’s junior varsity volleyball squad dropped a straight-set decision to Owen on Tuesday in a Western Highlands Conference match in Swannanoa.
The Wolverines fell 25-16, 25-23, dropping their record to 5-7 overall, 2-3 in conference matches. Polk County hosts Hendersonville on Thursday.
Kate Padgett had six kills for Polk County, with Morgan Stott adding 10 digs and five aces. Ashton Capozzi had 15 digs, Bella Bowser had 10 digs and Amber Hall had eight assists and nine digs for the Wolverines.
