Overholt, Yoder receive All-WNC recognition

Polk County’s Sophia Overholt and Morgan Yoder have received All-WNC Volleyball recognition by the Citizen-Times in Asheville.

Overholt and Yoder were named to the All-WNC Second Team following a season in which the Wolverines won the state 1A championship. Overholt recorded 272 kills and 352 digs and was named the MVP of the state final while Yoder had 315 kills, 56 aces and 93 blocks while also leading the state in hitting percentage.

North Henderson’s Bailey Rowe was named the All-WNC Player of the Year, with Brevard’s Cori Bryson named the All-WNC Coach of the Year.
