Overholt, Yoder earn NCVBCA all-region honors

Polk County seniors Sophia Overholt and Morgan Yoder have earned all-region honors from the North Carolina Volleyball Coaches Association.

Overholt and Yoder were chosen for the Region 8 squad.

Yoder ranks second on the team in kills (206), with her hitting percentage of .443 leading all 1A West players. She has 69 total blocks and a team-high 51 aces.

Overholt ranks third in kills (142) and digs (205). She missed nine matches due to a knee injury.

The NCVBCA all-state teams will be announced November 11.
