Polk County head volleyball coach Molly Hill

HighSchoolOT.com, a website devoted to covering high school athletics in North Carolina, has chosen Polk County coach Molly Hill as one of five finalists for its state volleyball coach of the year award.

In her 10th season, Hill led Polk County to the 1A state championship, the Wolverines sweeping Falls Lake Academy in the final to win the school’s first title in the sport.

Fans will vote for the state volleyball coach of the year as well as player and coach honors in numerous other sports. People can vote once per day in each category now through 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 31. Winners will be announced during a special virtual awards show streamed on HighSchoolOT.com on Jan. 15, 2024.
