Hall, Waddell named to AVCA Phenom list

Polk County sophomores Kendall Hall and Reagan Waddell have been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association Phenom list for 2015.

The Phenom list honors some of the nation’s top high school underclassmen. Players chosen for the squad are eligible to attend the AVCA Phenom College Preparatory Program, a weekend of events set this year for Dec. 17-20 in Omaha, Neb.

Participating student-athletes and their parents will attend educational sessions, the Under Armour All-America High School Volleyball Match, NCAA volleyball matches, interact with AVCA Collegiate All-Americans, undergo Volleyball Performance Index (VPI) testing and Athlete Behavioral Profile (ABP), and participate in a Talent Showcase during which athletes demonstrate their skills in front of more than 100 college coaches.

Hall and Waddell have started since their freshmen seasons and also play travel volleyball with Xcel Volleyball in Hendersonville.
