Polk County senior setter Zaelea Eller reached 1,000 career assists during Monday’s match with R-S Central.

Eller recorded the milestone during the Wolverines’ 3-0 win over the Hilltoppers in the opening round of the Mountain Foothills 7 Conference Tournament.

Eller finished the match with 28 assists and now has 1,022 for her career. She is the first Wolverine to reach 1,000 career assists since Sydney Waldman and the third to do so during the 10-year tenure of head coach Molly Hill, joining Waldman and Kara Overholt.
