East Rutherford handed Polk County’s junior varsity a 2-0 setback Tuesday in a Mountain Foothills 7 Conference match in Forest City.
The Cavaliers claimed a 25-17, 25-22 win, dropping the Wolverines to 13-6 overall. Polk County is back in action Wednesday at Enka.
Lexi Beiler had six kills and 15 digs for Polk, with Thais Vorbe adding four kills. Junie Mitchell had seven assists and nine digs while Charley Dusenbury had three assists and six digs.
