East Henderson JVs slip past Polk in opener

East Henderson pulled off the narrowest of wins on Tuesday, edging Polk County 25-23, 25-23 in the Wolverines’ season opener.

Ashton Capozzi had 17 digs for the Wolverines, who also got nine digs from Bella Bowser, eight digs from Kate Padgett, eight assists from Amber Hall and five kills from Rylee McDowell.

The Wolverines are back in action on Thursday, traveling to Rosman for a 5 p.m. match.
