Dusenbury earns spot on NCVBCA Players to Watch List

Polk County senior Charley Dusenbury has been selected for the North Carolina Volleyball Coaches Association’s 2025-26 NCVBCA Student-Athlete Players to Watch List.

This year’s Watch List recognizes 262 athletes nominated by NCVBCA varsity volleyball head coaches from throughout the state for their outstanding volleyball play. The Watch List sets the stage for the NCVBCA All-Region, All-State and Player of the Year awards programs named later this fall.

To be eligible for NCVBCA awards, athletes must attend a NCHSAA member school and be nominated by a NCVBCA active member coach.

Dusenbury has recorded almost 1,200 assists in her Polk County career. She has 88 assists, 90 digs and 32 kills this season for the Wolverines.
