Brevard rallied from a two-set deficit on Wednesday to hand Polk County a 3-2 loss in the final regular-season match for both teams in non-conference volleyball action.
The homestanding Blue Devils took a 16-25, 19-25, 25-23, 25-19, 15-6 win, dropping Polk County to 17-7. Brevard improved to 17-6.
Ashley Love had 24 kills and 22 digs for Polk County, with Reagan Waddell adding 13 kills, two aces and 13 digs. Addie Lynch added 13 kills, with Kendall Hall finishing with 45 digs, Lauren Ketwitz adding 15 digs and Savannah Ross contributing 23 digs and 54 assists.

Polk County, the Western Highlands Conference champions, will open the state 2A playoffs at home on Saturday. Pairings are slated to be announced on Thursday.
