A.C. Reynolds slips past Polk junior varsity

A.C. Reynolds survived another solid effort from Polk County’s junior varsity, edging the Wolverines Thursday in a non-conference match at Polk.

The visiting Rockets claimed a 25-21, 25-21 victory that dropped Polk County to 0-5 on the season.

Riyah Schroyer had four kills and six digs for Polk, with Mahaley Wilson adding nine digs and two kills.

Junie Mitchell had 19 digs, with Aslyn Scruggs recording 11 digs and five assists. Beija Olivari had seven digs.

The Wolverines will be back in action on Tuesday, traveling to Patton for their first Mountain Foothills 7 Conference match of the season.
