By Staff Reports 5 min read

Polk County kicked off its outdoor track season on Friday by hosting R-S Central for the annual Tony Waldrop Memorial.

The Wolverines had two athletes record qualifying performances for the 1A West Regional in May:

  • Blake Anderson won the 400-meter run with a mark of 53.68, just surpassing the standard of 53.74.
  • Karsyn Huskey claimed the 800-meter run in 2:27.87.
