Smoky Mountain rolled to a 20-1 victory over Polk County on Wednesday in a non-conference junior varsity game at Polk County.

Lacy Montgomery had two hits for the Wolverines, including a long double, and head coach Jeff Wilson also cited the offense of Amber Miller as well as the defensive play of Hannah Emory, Ashley Ponder and Caitlin Davis.

“We continue to work on fundamentals and their application in live game situations,” Wilson said. “Despite this result we are improving rapidly.”
