Polk softballers among Hot Stove Dinner nominees

Three Polk County softball players have been nominated for awards at the 2nd Annual Blue Ridge Baseball and Softball Hot Stove Awards Dinner to be held Saturday in Morganton.

The Hot Stove League Dinner recognizes top baseball and softball players and scholars. Orginating in Charlotte more than decade ago, the Blue Ridge Hot Stove League includes counties Alexander, Avery, Buncombe, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Cleveland, McDowell, Mitchell, Polk, Rutherford, Watauga, Wilkes and Yancey.
