Polk County’s new youth mountain biking team is holding a final signup period for the upcoming season.
Polk County Composite will begin its first season of competition on December 1, with the season running through the end of May. Practice will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with some Saturday pratices. Competitive events as part of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association will be held on weekends in the spring.
Registration fee for the season is $250. All riders who sign up will be allowed to compete.
