Wolverines to open 2021-22 basketball season on Nov. 30

Polk County will kick off its 20-game 2021-22 basketball season with a three-game road trip before its home opener on Dec. 9.

The Wolverines will begin their season on Nov. 30, traveling to Piedmont Communiy Charter. Road trips to Blue Ridge Early College and Rosman follow before Polk County returns home to face Blue Ridge Early College.

The Wolverines will begin their first season in the Mountain Foothills 7 Conference on Dec. 17, traveling to Patton.

Game days will begin with junior varsity girls play at 4 p.m. unless otherwise noted. All home games, and a number of away games, will be shown live on the NFHS Network.
