Saturday night proved all right for Mattison Hoots.
The Tryon dirt track driver took home top honors in the 10th Thunder Bomber Classic at Travelers Rest Speedway, bringing home the $10,010 check and trophy for winning the event.
Hoots struggled with his car on Friday. But with hard work and some family help, Hoots found the right formula, moving up from his starting spot in the second row to take the checkered flag in the 110-lap feature.
