Polk updates dates, times for soccer, football games

A handful of schedule changes will impact Polk County athletic events this week.

With rain possibly being heavy at times on Thursday, Polk County’s varsity boys soccer game with Brevard will now start at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, with the junior varsity football game with Brevard moving to Wednesday at approximately 7:15 p.m.

Also note that Polk County’s varsity football game at Brevard on Friday will begin at 7 p.m., rather than 7:30 p.m., as the game will be broadcast on WMYA-40.
