Polk County Middle volleyball and boys soccer teams will begin play Monday in the Blue Ridge Conference Tournament for their respective sports.
The Wolverine volleyball squad received the top seed in the BRC East Division and will host Canton Middle, the fourth seed in the West, in the first round. That match is set for 4:30 p.m.
With a win, Polk Middle would advance to a semifinal meeting with either Brevard Middle or Smoky Mountain Middle. That match would be at Polk.

The Wolverine soccer squad claimed the third seed in the East Division and will travel Monday to Waynesville to face a Mountaineer squad seeded second in the West.
The winner of that match will face either Hendersonville Middle or Canton Middle in the semifinals.
