Polk County updates pre-Christmas basketball schedule

Polk County has updated its basketball schedule for the days prior to the Christmas holidays.

Wednesday’s scheduled home games with Piedmont Community Charter have been canceled and will not be rescheduled. That means the Wolverines will next take the floor on Friday, opening Mountain Foothills 7 Conference play at Patton.

Polk County will then travel Monday to Rosman for a non-conference game before returning home Tuesday to face Hendersonville in another set of conference games.

The Wolverines will then be off for the holiday break before returning to action in January.
