Polk County FCA students attend Garden City retreat

1 min read

Five students from Polk County High School spent the first weekend of their spring break attending the Fellowship of Christian Athletes High School Retreat at the Garden City Chapel and Retreat Center in Garden City, S.C.

The students were assigned a huddle that was led by a college student and included students from different high schools. Worship was led by The Rock Band from The Rock Church in Conway, S.C.

The speaker for the event was Mitch Mason, the chaplain for the University of North Carolina football team. Mason used examples from his own life to help and encourage students to make good decisions in their life and to trust God with those decisions.
