Polk County Volleyball Club will hold tryouts for its 2025-26 travel teams on Sunday, Aug. 17, from 1-3 p.m. in the Polk County High School gymnasium.
Tryouts are open to players ages 12-16, with age eligibility based on 2025-26 Amateur Athletic Union standards. Students from any county are eligible to participate.
Players must pay a $25 non-refundable tryout fee by cash or check only. Those selected for teams must submit a $250 non-refundable deposit by Sunday, Aug. 24, to secure a roster spot.

The club will announce final team costs by Sunday, Aug. 31. Monthly season payments will be due on the first practice of each month, with the schedule to be determined.
Additional required expenses include jersey purchases and AAU membership fees.
Practice sessions will begin the first Sunday in December and will be held twice weekly. Tournament play is scheduled to start in January, with season length varying by team placement.
