PCVC Academy set to return in January

The Polk County Volleyball Club will launch its Academy program in January, offering practice sessions and tournament play for boys and girls in first through eighth grade.

PCVC Academy is part of a regional effort to help more young players develop skills and experience without the expense and time commitment of joining travel teams. The Academy includes practice every Sunday from 1:30-3 p.m. at Polk County High School and one tournament per month. The program runs from January through March.

The cost is $85 monthly, with payment due on the first practice day, Sunday, Jan. 5. Registration papers will be available at the front desk of the gym, and space will be available for anyone who needs to register on the first day.
