By Staff Reports 1 min read

The Polk County Volleyball Club 14s finished second this weekend in the SAVL Southeastern Showdown in Greenville.

PCVC finished 3-0 in pool play, then won their first two matches in championship bracket play. The team, under the direction of Polk County High head coach Molly Hill, didn’t drop a set in winning its first five matches.

PCVC’s perfect run moved the 14s into Sunday’s final, where they dropped a 25-17, 27-25 decision to Xcel 14 Premier.
