Polk County High School will hold cheerleading tryouts May 13-15 in the PCHS gym.
Tryouts are open to all current PCHS students and rising ninth graders. Sessions will run from 3:30-6 p.m. each day.
Participants will learn cheers and chants, basic stunting and motions, and spirit and performance evaluation. Participants must have current physicals to try out.
Those trying out should wear athletic attire (t-shirt and shorts) and cheer or athletic shoes, bring a water bottle and have hair pulled back.
