PCHS Indoor Track
For the first time, Polk County’s indoor track and field teams will take part in a conference championship meet.

The Western Highlands Conference Championships were originally slated for Thursday. Those have been moved to Wednesday, Feb. 4 at Tryon International Equestrian Center.

Polk County teams are still planning to compete in Thursday’s meet at TIEC.

PCMS Wrestling
The Blue Ridge Conference Individual Wrestling Tournament will be held Friday at Smoky Mountain High School.

Weigh-ins will begin at 2:30 p.m., with wrestling starting at 3:30 p.m.

PCMS Basketball
The opening round of the Blue Ridge Conference Basketball Tournament is now set for Monday, Feb. 2, with rounds to follow on Feb. 4 and Feb. 5.

Polk Middle’s girls finished fourth in the BRC East Division and are scheduled to travel to Canton Middle in the opening round.

If weather delays Monday’s first round, then the conference will try to play the opening round on Wednesday, Feb. 4, with rounds to follow on Feb. 5 and Feb. 9.
