Polk County’s girls will be at home while the Wolverine boys hit the road on Monday as play begins in the Mountain Foothills 7 Conference postseason basketball tournament.
The Polk girls (12-7) lost a drawing Saturday with R-S Central and will be the third seed in the tournament. The Wolverines will host sixth-seeded Patton on Monday at 6 p.m.
With a win, Polk County will advance to Wednesday’s semifinal to face either R-S Central or Chase.
The Polk County boys (7-13) earned the seventh seed and will visit No. 2 Hendersonville on Monday. That game is slated to begin at 7:30 p.m.
The winner of that game will face either Patton or Chase in the semifinals.
The tournament semifinals and finals are slated to be played at R-S Central.
