Polk County head girls soccer coach Lennox Charles has been busy lately as a player in addition to leading the Wolverines to the 1A West Regional final.
Charles and the Charleston VOP O60 team won the 8×8 2024 Carolinas Cup Over 60 Division, that tournament held May 25-26 in James Island, S.C. Charles was one of two players under 60 allowed on the team.
Charles also competed in the over-50 division of the Charlotte Premier Soccer League. Playing with the Real Lyold squad, Charles helped lead the team to a 13-4-1 regular-season record, good for second place, and the league’s postseason tournament championship, held at OrthoCarolina Sportsplex in Pineville.
