The 19th annual Kirby Cup Soccer Camp will be held June 9-13 at Harmon Field in Tryon.
The free camp for boys and girls in grades 3-8 (ages 8-13) has been funded by a Kirby Harmon Field Fund grant at the Polk County Community Foundation.
Applications are available at the Polk County Middle School office, all Polk County Elementary School offices and through YMCA-Polk Recreation soccer league teams.

The camp’s mission is to teach fundamental soccer skills and create global awareness by exploring other countries’ heritages. Players are divided into four teams representing countries from different continents.
Each day, players will perform basic soccer skills, play in a scrimmage and learn about each country. The camp concludes with a round-robin tournament on Saturday.
All applications must be mailed in and enrollment is limited to 72 players on a first-come, first-served basis.
