With a blast of Arctic air approaching the area, Polk County has rescheduled its indoor track meet originally planned for Wednesday.
The Polar Bear meet has been moved to Saturday at 11 a.m. at Wolverine Stadium. Wednesday’s current forecast calls for temperatures to dip into the teens as nighttime arrives, with gusty winds making for a brutally cold wind chill factor.
Saturday’s meet will be the next-to-last home meet of the indoor season for Polk County, with another Polar Bear meet currently set for Jan. 28.
