Cold weather forces cancellation of Polk indoor track meet

The Polar Bear indoor track meet set for Saturday at Polk County’s Wolverine Stadium has been cancelled.

Temperatures Saturday aren’t predicted to climb out of the upper 30s, and with a forecast low of 18 for Friday night, the meet likely would have started with the temperature below freezing.

Polk County has one more indoor home meet scheduled, that set for Jan. 28.
