Avery County earned a 7-2 win over Polk County on Tuesday in a Western Highlands Conference match in Newland.
Alivia Livesay had a hand in both points for the Wolverines. Livesay earned a 10-2 win over Lindsay Wiseman at No. 1 singles, then teamed with Rhian Alley for a 6-0 win over Wiseman and Savannah Church at No. 1 doubles.
The Wolverines return home Thursday to host Mountain Heritage in a match beginning at 4 p.m.
