Polk County's Cate Brown teamed with Bella Sheffron for a win Thursday at No. 1 doubles

Polk County’s girls tennis team again used a full-roster approach in posting a 9-0 sweep Thursday of Patton in Morganton.

The Wolverines are now 3-0, 2-0 in Mountain Foothills 7 Conference play. Patton dropped to 0-4, 0-2.

Polk County dominated the match, sweeping through singles play with a total loss of four games. The Wolverines then rotated in several new players for doubles and also swept through those matches.

Polk returns to action on Tuesday, traveling to East Rutherford for another conference match.
