
Polk County enjoyed an almost-perfect day on Thursday, dropping just one game en route to a 9-0 win over Mountain Heritage in girls tennis action at Polk.
The Wolverines (7-2, 3-0) earned 10-0 wins in all six singles matches in the Western Highlands Conference clash, with Tana Harris, Julia Griffin, Sara Muse, Ava Marino, Madi Pruette and Victoria Bolling all sweeping their way to victory.
Polk County then took two of three doubles matches by an 8-0 score, with Harris-Griffin winning at No. 1 doubles and Muse-Marino winning at No. 2. Pruette and Bolling earned an 8-1 victory at No. 3 doubles.
The Wolverines host West Henderson on Wednesday before traveling to Owen on Thursday for a key WHC match.
