Polk falls to East Rutherford in home season finale

Polk County’s home tennis season came to an end Wednesday as the Wolverines dropped a 7-2 decision to East Rutherford in a Mountain Foothills 7 Conference match.

The Wolverines (2-7) still have a pair of away doubleheaders next week, traveling to Brevard and Hendersonville.

Polk County received singles wins from Natalie Ramirez at No. 5 and a dominant 6-1, 6-1 effort from Allie Quoyle at No. 6.
