Polk County dropped a 7-2 decision to North Henderson on Monday in girls tennis action at Polk County.
Alivia Livesay earned a 10-3 win over Sally Gross at No. 1 singles for the Wolverines, with Livesay and Rhian Alley winning at No. 1 doubles by forfeit. Alley narrowly lost at No. 3 singles, dropping an 11-10 decision to Maddie Ball.
Polk County also came close to another win at No. 2 doubles, with Shannon Collins and Destinee Schlabach dropping a 7-5 decision.
The Wolverines are scheduled to be back in action on Tuesday, traveling to Mountain Heritage for a Western Highlands Conference match.
