Jenne again named WHC tennis player of the year

Polk County junior Hannah Jenne has been named the Western Highlands Conference Player of the Year for girls tennis for the 2017 season.

It marks the second straight season that Jenne has been named the conference’s top player.

Jenne teamed with sophomore Tana Harris to win the 1A doubles championship this fall and led Polk County to the WHC regular season championship and the 1A state quarterfinals, the best showing in school history.

Joining Jenne on the all-Western Highlands Conference team were teammates Harris, Bella Marino, Virginia Rostick and Julia Griffin, the WHC singles tournament champion.
