
Crest showed Wednesday why it is favored to again with the South Mountain Athletic Conference girls tennis title, defeating Polk County 9-0 in a non-conference match at Polk.
Undefeated in SMAC play this season, Crest swept singles and doubles matches to keep the Wolverines on the lookout for their first win.
Weather permitting, that victory could come Thursday as Polk County hosts Mountain Heritage in a Western Highlands Conference match.
